In honour of Women’s History Month, Chef Middle East decided to close out March by holding an exclusive event for some of the most inspirational women in the hospitality industry.
The picture-perfect “Awesome Blossoms” ladies’ afternoon tea experience took place at the stunning Le Guepard in Al Serkal, Dubai. An intimate, relaxed, and gastronomic gathering in its Spring dress with a floral get-up in full bloom; a way to say a heartfelt thank you to the many brilliant and talented women working in the hospitality sector. and to celebrate all the talented ladies.
The guests indulged in some decadent savoury creations crafted specially for the occasion by Chef Yanis Ait Yahoui, tantalizing the taste buds with a delightful menu that included a luxuriant Lobster Roll façon Vol Au vent with Belberry Yuzu Vinegar, a Raspberry Smoked Brisket Tartlet using Belberry Onion Raspberry Confit, Stockman’s Brisket and Le Bichon Tart Shells with a perfect taste balance, a Spanish take on the Europastry Croissant with Olmeda Origenes Tetilla Cheese & Piquillo and the famous Truffle Croque from Le Guepard menu.
Beautifully decorated and delicate sweets, by Chef Amine Hmani, sit pretty at the afternoon tea stands with first the Almond & Orange Blossom Club Sandwich using Valrhona Almond Inspiration Chocolate, Paysan Breton Whipping Cream, and Moulins Viron Flour, followed by the Blueberry & Coconut Bouchée crafted with Les vergers Boiron Blueberry Puree and Paysan Breton Whipping Cream; Raspberry & Chocolate Brownie with Les vergers Boiron Raspberry Puree and Valrhona Alpaco Chocolate and concluded by an assortment of Petit Pastry Canelés and Macarons.
It was surely an amazing afternoon to connect, chat, exchange ideas and tips and savour a ‘High-tea’ experience with a stunning selection of pastries, savory bites, and refreshing beverages.
