Chef Middle East launches The Great Bake-Off Challenge for bakers across the region.
Chef Middle East has launched its own The Great Bake-Off Challenge in partnership with the flour brand, Moulins Viron. Professional bakers from the UAE, Oman, and Qatar are invited to participate in this showcase of talent and culinary creativity
Already underway, The Great Bake-Off Challenge comprises four rounds. It welcomes bakers from the UAE, Oman and Qatar.
With Moulins Viron’s flour range available to bakers, they will have the opportunity to create products for a panel of judges and potentially win a trip to France.
In collaboration with Bongard, the challenge will bring the contestants a wide range of innovative and high-performance baking equipment that are used by top chefs. With each round, contestants will face challenges that will test their ingenuity, resourcefulness, and ability to create imaginative baked goods.

- Round 1: Recipe Submission (Now – Aug 28)
- Round 2: Black Box Challenge (Aug 12 – Aug 14)
- Round 3: The Creativity Test (Sep 21 – Oct 12)
- Finale: Compete & Win (23 Oct – 26 Oct)

Bringing French baking to the GCC
Guillaume Masson, export sales manager at Moulins Viron, shared his excitement on partnering with Chef Middle East for this one-of-a-kind event. Taking baking to “unprecedented heights”
The various rounds are being judged by a panel known for their culinary skills, bringing years of knowledge. The community is set to welcome MOFs Matthieu Atzenhoffer and Thomas Subrin at the grand finale. Their feedback and expert evaluation will provide guidance to participants, allowing them to refine their skills and take their baking talents to unprecedented heights.

Culminating in a grand finale to be held in Dubai from 23-26 October, contestants have the chance to showcase their skills, and have the opportunity to network with like-minded members of the community and form new connections within the same.
