Francois Daubinet at Chef Middle East’s Artistry, A Pastry Creative Breakout event
Chef Middle East hosted the exclusive Artistry. A Pastry Creative Breakout event at Burj Al Arab, to showcase the highly acclaimed pastry chef and artist, Francois Daubinet and his new book Inspirations.
He partnered with the iconic hotel’s executive pastry chef Tom Coll and world-class director of mixology Thibault Méquignon to showcase a unique collaboration that pushes the boundaries of pastry, art and mixology.
In partnership with Les vergers Boiron, Valrhona and Nascita, the event also offered a platform for Francois Daubinet to share his art, craft, and vision.
Francois Daubinet’s unique vision
In his book Inspirations, Daubinet captures his extraordinary talent and showcases collaborations with different craftsmen such as a jeweller, a blacksmith, and a street artist.
His ability to merge various art forms with pastry has earned him recognition as a true “rupturist” in the pastry world.
He spoke to Caterer Middle East about his new book, as well as his collaboration with the Burj Al Arab pastry chef and mixologist.
